Ethics

In this lesson, pupils explore how wealth is earned, grown, and used, building their financial literacy through a real world case study. Using Cristiano Ronaldo as an example, they learn about different types of income, including salary, extra income, and investments, and why having multiple income streams can support long term financial security. Pupils also examine how financial choices connect to values, ethics, and social responsibility, considering how wealth can be used to help others and make fair, responsible decisions.

PSHE:

This lesson supports PSHE Economic Wellbeing objectives L10, L19 and L20 by helping pupils understand different sources of income, including salary, additional earnings and investment, and recognise how financial success involves choice and responsibility. Pupils explore how wealth can be used ethically, consider the impact of financial decisions on others, and reflect on values such as fairness, compassion and social responsibility when evaluating how money is earned and used.
