Year 10
IN THIS LESSON
In this lesson students will explore how everyday borrowing habits shape their long term financial reputation, from credit cards to overdrafts to simple payment choices . They will learn how interest builds, why minimum payments trap people in debt, and how missed payments, credit limits and spending patterns affect a credit score. Through practical profiles they will judge real borrowing behaviours, separate safe habits from risky ones and understand how lenders interpret financial decisions. By the end students develop a clear sense of how to build a strong credit record and how small choices today can open or close financial opportunities in the future.
