Our Founding Partners

“At Three Spires, we are deeply committed to ensuring financial literacy is not treated as a tokenistic bolt-on, but as a genuine and embedded part of a child’s education. For us, this goes far beyond meeting a policy requirement, it’s about equipping young people to navigate a world where financial choices, pressures, and risks are increasingly complex and unavoidable. We believe financial literacy should stand alongside reading, writing and numeracy as a core life skill. Our curriculum ambition is to empower students with the knowledge and confidence not just to understand money, but to make informed, ethical, and responsible financial decisions.

To bring this vision to life, we are embedding Build & Conquer’s Financial Literacy Educator Framework into both the mathematics and PSHE curricula across all our schools. Their expertise ensures the delivery is high-quality, relevant, and consistent - tailored to our learners and sustainable across diverse contexts. This core offer is further enhanced by drop-down days, giving students the chance to explore key financial concepts through practical, engaging, real-world applications from budgeting and credit, to taxation and digital finance.

We are also integrating financial literacy into our careers education, informed by Build & Conquer Financial Literacy’s work on economic equity and awareness. This includes educating students on structural inequalities, such as the gender and ethnic pay gaps so they not only develop financial competence, but also a broader understanding of the systems that shape economic outcomes.

Crucially, we recognise that the success of this work depends on confident and empowered staff. That’s why we are investing in professional development that provides teachers with the tools, language, and permission to lead financial education meaningfully. This is not about off-the-shelf resources, it’s about transforming teaching culture so that financial education is embedded, relevant, and impactful.

We see this initiative as a key lever for social mobility, equity, and long-term success, helping close disadvantage gaps and enabling all students to flourish in the real world. Our partnership with Build & Conquer Financial Literacy ensures this work is not a short-term intervention, but a Trust-wide, values-aligned commitment to preparing young people for life.”

"At ONE Multi Academies Trust, we believe that financial literacy is a fundamental life skill that all young people must acquire to thrive in modern society, particularly our most disadvantaged pupils, who often face the greatest barriers to financial independence. Financial education empowers them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions, avoid financial pitfalls, and break cycles of disadvantage.

Through our EmpowerONE curriculum, we are embedding financial literacy across the national curriculum, particularly through Maths and PSHE, ensuring that it becomes a sustained and meaningful part of every child’s learning journey. We are proud to be working in partnership with Build & Conquer Financial Literacy, drawing on their expertise to design content that is engaging, practical, and relevant to our pupils' lived experiences.

The training for staff is invaluable, enabling them to deliver financial literacy with clarity, confidence and consistency, making a lasting impact on the futures of the children and communities we serve."
